It’s that time of year again! Christmas! There are so many amazing Christmas events in and around Vancouver, I wanted to share some of them with you. Take your family and enjoy the days leading up to the Holidays.

The Peak Of Christmas

The Peak Of Christmas is a magical Christmas event up at Grouse Mountain. Take the Gondola up to the peak where you can visit Santa in Santas Workshop, skate on an 8,000 square foot frozen pond, walk through a tunnel of twinkling lights and watch Christmas movies at the Theater In The Sky. There is so much to see and enjoy from November 22 to January 5! Tickets can be purchased on their website.

Canyon Lights

The Capilano Suspension Bridge transforms into Canyon Lights during the Holiday Season. See thousands of lights as you adventure through the rainforest, walk along the cliff walk, and venture from tree to tree on the Treetop Adventure. Decorate gingerbread cookies, sing Christmas Carol’s with the holiday band and go on a snowy owl prowl. This beautiful christmas event is a must, and as a BC resident you will get a pass for one year with your ticket purchase.

Vancouver Christmas Market

Experience an authentic German Christmas Market at The Vancouver Christmas Market. Enjoy authentic German food, German beers and Glühwein (hot-spiced mulled wine).

Shop the market for that perfect gift for that special someone. A variety of vendors are set up for your shopping needs.

These are soaps, and are absolutely amazing!

Take a ride on the Christmas Carousel, rides are $3 each or $10 for an all day pass.

Make sure you take a walk under the towering Walk In Christmas Tree, with more than 36,000 twinkling lights. This is a perfect photo OP!

Visiting without kids? Stop by the Wunderbar, The Christmas Markets German bar. Advanced bookings are required. Take a look at what the Wunderbar experiences offers.

Glow Vancouver

Previously out in Langley, Glow has a new home out here in Vancouver! Glow Vancouver will be on the grounds near Science World from November 21 to January 5! Follow lighted pathways through thousands of lights from different countries, stroll through the lighted tunnel with 50,000 lights, enjoy live entertainment, and delicious food and drinks! I had the opportunity to attend Glow Langley last year, and it is incredible! I can only imagine what Glow Vancouver will be like, in their new home! Vancouver Santa Claus Parade

From the Vancouver Santa Clause Parade Website

On Sunday, December 1 head to Downtown Vancouver for the annual Roger’s Santa Claus Parade! This free family event starts at 12 o’clock on Broughton Street, before it heads down Georgia Street then down Howe along to Davie Street. Head down early to see the pre parade festivities and find yourself a good spot. Parking is tough Downtown, so consider taking transit. I hate to say… that I don’t think I’ve ever been.. and if I have, it was when I was very young. I’m unable to attend this year, but will definitely try for next!
